The role
Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is looking for the next Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation at an exciting but challenging time.
The person
You will be a visionary, passionate, open and inclusive Chief Executive Officer who is committed to tackling inequalities in healthcare outcomes, improving experience and access for our patients, service users, staff and partners. An experienced leader operating at or close to Chief Executive level in a complex health or care environment, you will be robust and innovative in the use of data and technology and compassionate in your leadership of people and services.
An inspiring communicator, your consistent focus on service users and patients and improvement will be evident and allow you to quickly gain credibility with our Board, our staff, Governors, partners and the people who we serve. - Evidence of your experience inworking in collaboration and in partnership across systems
- Evidence of where you have reduced health inequalities; and ensured equity and inclusion in the workforce
- A completed fit and proper person form – the template can be downloaded from the same place as the job description.
- You should provide the names, positions, organisations, and contact details for your referees, which must be your line managers and include your current and most recent employer. The referees should cover at least two roles as the minimum. Please note, should you be appointed, you will be required to provide references covering your last 6 years of employment as per the new NHS Fit and Proper Person regulations. Where there have been gaps in employment, this six year period will be extended accordingly. Referees will only be contacted for those proceeding to the final stage - we will always gain your permission before we contact referees.
